I was just there and saw it with my own eyes. And I am not saying anything bad about any individual southerner. Just their traditional culture. Myth over reason. Or, E.g. Their voting pattern. I follow that closely. They vote extreme right wing more than any place in the country. They don't seem to get it. Guys like Haley Barbour and Trent Lott, Tom Delay, Dick Army, Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond are not only full blown racist's, but full blown criminals. Seems to totally escape them
