AGII - thanks for explanation, but I'd rather not buy an insurance company where I can only look at history from 2007 to now. Plenty of cheap companies with 10+ year histories that rightly or wrongly can be analyzed.

BAC - I bought it last fall on Bruce Berkowitz's investments in financials then sold on mortgage brouhaha. It might be a buy, but I'll pass.
