Well, fellow Foodmaker followers, just got Consumer Reports for December and was interested to find a report on "fast food". In the commentary pages, we received scant attention other than the observation that Wendy's and McD's grilled chicken tasted as good as JITB and BK's varieties with far less fat. In the rating tables, because they listed entrees in order of least to most fat within each food type instead of the more common best-to-worst, a casual reader might think most FM entrees scored poorly when in fact they were just a bit more generous in the "marbling" <g>. Interestingly, Carl's Jr. was not included in the survey (though Hardee's was in a few categories). In a smaller detached chart where they did quick comparisons of "chicken wraps", Jack's Fajita Pita came in with far better fat/nutrition stats than Wendy's or Taco Bell.

Regards,

Chris
