good morning Margaret, i m always a cautious bull. now i m more intrested in preserving wealth then building growth. we will have a year or two of 1% to 10% growth for the next two years (imo). Come jan, we will find out how temp or perm effect of SE asia. Many of tech companies have a huge % of revenue coming from that part of world. pier1, wmt etc will benefit from importing from there. since i am not good at picking those kinds of stocks i am diverisifying into gen market. bonds : money that i can hopefully, live off if i want to quit working or if there are massive layoffs. i already see lots of layoffs in high tech. sgi, appl, ibm. etc. etc. chk ur email. davefmly@aimnet.com
