Do you dispute the tornados and hurricanes, floods, droughts, cold weather and hot weather are all normal things? Do you disupute that climate wasn't always uniform and benign before we began burning fossil fuels?

No, I don't. And I am not 100% certain that what we are seeing is climate change. But I will tell you something......if this is what climate change will mean going forward, we are in for a world of hurt. As bad as it is, forget how many people were killed and injured in this latest bout of tornadoes......just look at the current damage estimate for Joplin at $3 billion.....that's one little city in MO. And that does take into account the tornado damage done in other states like Alabama, or the damage done from the flooding along the Mississippi or the damage we can anticipate from this summer's hurricanes. By the end of the year, that will be lots of billions all stacked up.

Now know this.......the US has one of the more difficult climates in the world's temperate zone where most of the global population lives. We are more prone to strong storms than pretty much any other country in the world. For an example, no other country has the number of tornadoes we experience each year.

That means climate change is going to have a bigger financial impact on this country than on others. Its the money...$$$.....dude......maybe that consequence will register in the peanut size brains of most wingers.
