David; I hope that 2 1/16 was the low but I once posted that FIBR would never hit 2....... I was almost wrong. Never say never. And the earnings announcement is still coming, and we know that isn't going to be great. Hopefully, all those who are going to sell on bad news have done so, but my guess is that there are still those who are borderline-scared and the straight-in-the-face earnings release may be the last straw. I probably should have bought in the recent low 2's but couldn't bring myself to do so...... I had doubts and still do; I'm human. Still holding; at least, I haven't sold. I do have to say that all the optimism on this thread does help me to stabilize, but at times seems too optimistic. The truth often seems ellusive and news and numbers do not always indicate what we think they do. I guess it comes down to giving Par and FIBR employees a chance to make it happen. But I seriously do believe Par needs to get some support from a well known and respected Company: either an alliance or otherwise. Our local university (about 15,000 students) is converting to an all fibre network, and I happened to be working in their offices and so I asked what they thought of Osicom products. They had never heard of them ( out of about 3 personnel.) My point is Osicom needs market recognition, and an alliance with the right company would do wonders. Osicom is small, recent, and has had some bad press lately (Barron's.). This may scare some potential buyers. Osicom products sound very good indeed, but we need to get this info out into the market place as a whole. The Atlanta show sounded great, and I hope that exposure helps. I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. I'm in this thing with everyone else. And keep up the great work and posts..... your opinions and info are greatly appreciated, I assure you. Good luck to all. Michael |
