I am a Zacks subscriber and got slightly different data this morning. The data I see is as follows: Wall Street Recommendations Natl Retail Broker Inst Broker Reg Broker Total Z Indicator Strong Buy 1 4 4 9 0ÿ ÿ Moderate Buy 0 2 6 8 0ÿ Hold 1 8 2 11 0ÿ Moderate Sell 0 0 1 1 0ÿ Strong Sell 0 1 0 1 1ÿ So, I see 9 strong buy, 8 moderate buy, 11 hold, 1 moderate sell, 1 strong sell, and the Zacks indicator of strong sell. The strong buy of 9 was marked as an increase for the week, so it must have been 8 or less last week. I'm not sure where you got the strong buy of 10, unless you are not a subscriber and are looking at data that is free, but older. I get an average of 2.23 (same as you), which is between hold and moderate buy, well above hold and slightly under moderate buy. An average of 3.0 would indicate hold. Harry
