Are you taking into account that these actions actually occurred perhaps six weeks earlier? (Insider buyiong/selling).

I Looks at the Rhone Poulenc Rohrer report and it looked to me as if it was a 10 percent company buy-back of stock.

Neither of these comments invalidates what you suggest.

Indeed, I think that (if that was a buyback), such a move is an ill-advised distribution of capital byt the company. All the insiders are actually selling. (for RPR).

Well...I really can't tell what was going on with RPR. it seems it was being acquired by the French aprent company, so whatever that figure meant, you were correct to eliminate it from your calculations.
