Not what was said. You tend to make a lot of things up.

That I did say. I mean, we poured what? $5 trillion into the economy over his administration?

Normally that sort of stimulus, if spent by the government, should have made the economy take off like a rocket.

While things did improve, we got a pretty poor return on the money.

It just goes to show that if you don't target the money, it gets wasted.

The average was closer to $625 billion over the 8 years. You are ignoring the two wars and the Medicare benefit that were on the credit card and kept out of the budget for political reasons. The last budget deficit when Bush left office was in excess of $1 trillion.

So your argument falls flat on its face.
