Historically the anti-black racists congregated in the Democratic party. Now any open racists will not be welcomed in either party (by which I don't mean they will be denied membership, the parties are not small private clubs, they don't keep people out, or kick them out, they just condemn them or refuse to support them or nominate them), but anti-white and anti-Asian racism is more accepted by the Democratic party, even promoted as policy through affirmative action. Also racism against conservative blacks comes from the left in the US. Its one thing to be against them because they are conservatives, that isn't racist, but to say things like "they are not really black" or that they are "betraying their race". The idea that you have to have a certain set of political ideas or support a certain party, if you have a particular skin color is racist.
