Speaking of being on a tear, Carl Crawford of the Red Sox, who got off to a horrendous start, has had 4 hits in consecutive games. Of the 8 hits, 5 of them have been for extra bases. A home run and two triples were among them.

And, the Red Sox have scored a minimum of 14 runs in consecutive games, one of those games against the League leading Indians.
