"While you've been away, the wingers took over the thread" I guess so. They never were big on actual proof. Hearsay, innuendo and outright making shit up was always their MO. They always acted offended when anyone asked for proof, and somehow never got around to actually providing any. Occasionally someone like Shorty would provide a link, but even then it usually was some wingnut site which was also short on actual proof or facts, or it would contradict what they were claiming. Recently, I posted an article which discussed how Chrysler was paying back in full its loan from the feds. Shortly after, someone posted an article from a winger website saying that Chrysler was using 'voodoo' economics to pay back the loan. I tried to read and understand the premise of the article but you know.....English ain't the first language for winger websites. What's clear is that they don't want the truth but rather they want what supports their ideological beliefs. I can't imagine the frustration competent and honest leaders must feel trying to deal with these yoyos.
