Its true that what constitutes Tea Party ideas isn't very well defined, but Joe Arpaio doesn't strike me as a Tea Party type of guy. He's a big government, extreme "law and order", type of guy. More in the direction of quasi-fascist then in the direction of libertarian or even the semi-libertarian tea party.
