Mark, Tivoli has products that actually adds value to a Novell Network, and is something that all LAN/WAN administers should consider. IBM bought them because of this, and is merging their Netview/Systemview family with Tivoli's products, by selecting best-of-breed from both vendors. The merged product has been branded as TME-10.

Their strategy is to help manage all operating systems in terms of networking, storage, transactions, and systems. Their products come into play after a NOS is installed, not before.

Their $49/seat Netfinity package helps manage NT, NW, DOS, WindowsXX, and OS/2 clients and servers. It works over both IPX or IP networks, and can interface with Openview, Systemview, TME10, and other high-end ($20K+) packages.
