Threaders, I had responded to Don on TSO. He wished to pursue it here and not on TSO. The first part is my initial comments to Don, the second part is Don's request on TSO to move it to Ideas and the third part is my intial response to Don on TSO.

(i) I don't have any motives or any doubts about my integrity.
(ii) I don't have any supporters or detractors.
(iii) I don't support or detract anyone either.
(iv) I am not insulting anyone's intelligence by posting on TSO. In fact, the same arguement was employed by Lisa about a couple of posts ago (about not wanting to post on Idea's on this issue) so I am not alone here
(v)Also, I felt you really meant to not post here. I know you frequent TSO and wanted to specifically address you. Hence I posted there. That sounded reasonably logical to me. Now feel free to imply sinister motives to this and imply that I am cultist and so on and so forth.
(vi) No, neither am I going to try and have the "last word" nor am I going to turn this into a vicious mud-slinging debate. I will respectfully hear you out if you have any clarifications. If anything makes me change my opinions, I will willingly admit that my previous set of opinions were founded on incomplete/unclarified facts.
(vii) Though it does not bother me if people attack me, I genuinely wish to not hurt you or anyone else. I hope you understand where I am coming from and what I am trying to say. If you wish to take your time to respond to this, or if you wish to not respond at all, or if you wish that I shut up or if you wish to do this over e-mail, all you have to do is ask.

thread. I do not wish to continue the discussion here as you wish. Please dont insult
everyones intelligence by saying that you preferred to comment on the Tech Options
thread since the air is so think in the IDEAS thread, you just want to bring the
arguement here. So if you have any integrity then send me the note on the IDEAS
thread so I can go into detail.
I doubt you will since it does not fit in your motives.

I seldom post to you, and this is one of those rare times that I have chosen to
specifically address you. You were intense in your post to Nayson (and you certainly
were justied and I wish I could find that intensity when you addressing some others on
similar issues), but a few points bother me :

I think you are contradicting yourself when you say you don't like a cult-like
atmosphere but expect Ike to intervene.
Before I proceed further, I wish to clarify that - I don't like emotionalism - I fully
supported Kevin's & Lisa's position in their previous situation with Ike and to a large
extent, I support TT (as I posted earlier in both the threads) in his current situation with
Ike. TSO is one of the only threads that I have followed on SI regularly and I am on
other threads only occasionally. I chose to respond to you here and not on "ideas's"
cause the air is too thick out there.
Now that I am done with this preamble, I continue,

This was a similar situation some time ago when you "accused" Ike of "attacking you"
and feigned hurt and announced that you were not going to post there because of Ike.
It was obvious to many that he did not in the least attack you & that you were
"manipulating" "Ike's and Idea thread's bad reputation" to play a "victim". The real
reason was that you preferred not to associate with Ike. Which, Sir, is no problem
whatsoever - but why do you not come out and say so and instead indulge in all this
tantrum-throwing ? You remained mum about the previous situation till this weekend,
while in the meantime, scores of people on that thread had virtually "begged" you for
forgiveness. Well, well !!!!
I find a definite pattern to the people you choose to throw a tantrum at (Ike, Nancy Ho
etc etc) and THAT, Lovely Lisa, is VERY SCAREY !!!
Feel free to get "hurt" by this post and threaten to not post here or anywhere else etc
etc. It doesn't bother me at all. But what does bother me is that I am sure Kevin, lisa, tt
and other regulars on this thread enjoy your posts on this thread and will much rather
miss me than you. So my request to you is, should you get mighy upset by this,
consider me as one of "the ideas guys", vent your spleen at me, not at TSO.
