>>Yah , have to agree that Zacks is a little late with the downgrade , if you can call it that . Mentioned over a month ago here & other thread thinking that lead of AAPL's would be challenged sooner than later & the competition i've seen only just since the iPad II release has really stepped up . (Talking mainly phones of course )

The loyal millions of the AAPL fan base ( heavily monetized ecosytem) always its guarantee & expanding but know that Google has no intentions of sleeping at the wheel like Balmer did over at Softie letting them take over the greatest killer app of them all then , music downloads .<<

I don't agree that Zacks is late with the downgrade. I think it's a really bad call, in fact. While AAPL, the stock, has shown no upward momentum for several months, that is not unusual, historically. It has done that before, preceding breakouts to the upside that led to whole new levels.

Apple has always faced competition, in every area. I know Google isn't standing still, but neither is Apple. So far, there's no evidence that Apple as a company is losing momentum. So there's a disconnect between the company's results and the stock's performance. As there has been in each of the prior years when we've seen the same patterns in the chart. And as I said, each time we've seen what's happening now, we have then seen the stock move up decisively.
