I have a 4:40 in the first mile of the Manchester Road Race (downhill for the 1st quarter mile) but never broke 12 seconds in a 100 yard. 56 now but haven't raced in 12 - 15 years. May do Manchester again as it approaches its 75th anniversary. Did run for 120 minutes this AM, probably at a 9 min pace. I wouldn't even try to run a fast 100, would probably tear a groin (I've done this 3 times, not fun).
