Just venting out loud to myself and nobody at all.

I've really had it up to my eye teeth with Google. When they got into the ad biz, we were one of their first whales. Now I can't reach a human. Just the same automated replies over and over again.

We use them because I don't have enough ad networks lined up to take all of our inventory and don't have enough direct-sold. They actually get the lion's share of our inventory. And because of that, the $1.43 eCPM we're averaging with everyone but them gets dragged down to $0.60 when they're included.

I hate running too many ad networks because eventually it leads to delays in ad delivery and some networks just aren't trustworthy. But for two years our ad income has been about half what it really should be.

Okay, got that outta my system and will be spending more time tonight finding other networks to whom I can divert inventory that otherwise ends up at Google.
