Governor Goodhair started to mute his secession talk when it was revealed that the Texas Miracle was a mirage. Funny how low taxes, few services, no public unions and few unions of any type have resulted in one of the largest state budget deficits in the country. Higher than most of the blue states that regularly get slammed.

Yes, I saw that. He and his R colleagues were like the cocks on the walk, strutting around and talking about the Texas/conservative 'miracle' until it wasn't. What a joke. I bet he doesn't know how to read a budget.

And then when the wildfires started to get out of control, who was it screaming for federal aid?
