Missing the BIG PICTURE:
What brand of ram or sram is in your pc is it 60 or 70 ns how about
your graphics card or hd access speed........these details are of
no interest to the next big market the mass pc consumer and the
cpu will also be of no importance.....mainly the price will be
and intel totally missed the boat on this thej pII was not design
to be a commodity chip...for that matter neither was the k6 i
would be nervious owning either one but intel has much farther
to fall .In the next year cpu's for consumer pc's will be around
50 bucks.....or maybe less the fat profit margins will not be there.
When I make up a wish list as far a pc performance goes the number
one item is internet access speed/reliability then
internet applications then internet integration with other devices
like the phone and tv the cpu speed is not a factor....i have a
pentium classic 200 mhz got it last year on deep discount due to
mmx bs which i called correctly and i am not all that smart..../
anyone starting to get the picture hello the world has moved on
it is not a cpu centric market anymore hello hello anyone listening
