Bill, Do not believe that China will gain anything by siding with Sadam, Rusia and France and some extent the Germans will gain most.

Remember Rusia is owned plenty of $ by Iraq and Germany is a net importer of OIL!.

The whole issue with Sadam is a major US - e.g. Clinton political failure. The give credit were it belongs, Mr. Bush planted the seed at the time by not taking out Sadam. Typical myopic US foreign policy.

By now we would had 2 or 3 different new entities, like a Kurdish state, some resemblance of Iraq and in the South an undifined entity, which would be easely added to Saudia camp.

Novadays I am starting to belive Nostradamus and his prediction of the expansion of the Arabs.

Algeria even if not in the news should give some viable indications as to the anticipated future - daily slaughter of innocent people, for "religeous/muslim" causes!

If the fundamental muslim thinking will spread to more populos countries in SE Asia the world we be in real trouble.

Happy Trading
Haim
