Hill (NVLS) was extremely impressed on how Japan recovered.
He must have visited wafer makers - wafer makers are very energy intensive and Japan benefited (in the past) from relatively "cheap" nuclear power.
He thinks because of this (lack of nuclear power) the price for silicon wafers might go up - not completely out of the woods but he was very impressed by Japanese efforts to get back on track.
