yeah, Google doesn't have any problem going after the bank's debit card business using a cell phone. PayPal sure went after their transaction and CC business. They (paypal) charge me the same fee if I'm paid via a PayPal account or credit card so they keep the CC fees they charge on these... probably not enough money for the VCs or they are in bed with the banks and don't want to miss out on the special deals they get as big clients. Why build a company that screws themselves out of ill gotten profits?
