Hi L....We joined for a Life Membership, BUT Advanced Search wasn't available then....It costs lots of money to maintain this site, and those of us who are on a Life Membership are truly fortunate....IMO, we've received one of the best values I can think of for all the entertainment and learning experiences we will ever have. Most of us have been here for years, and SI has cost us only the cost of two or three movies a year. The Advanced Search is a totally neat thing to have, but everyone doesn't like to search around as much as I do....so it isn't necessary.
