<Elmer, The software "fix" will cause enormous overhead for interrupts 0-6>

Wrong again Petz, but this time only because hardly anyone will bother with the patch. It only affects Pentiums and there aren't many used in multi user systems. And of those used, not many will bother to install the patch. As for single user systems, I have a 200mhx Pentium MMX and I'm not going to bother, most everyone else won't bother either. It was another non event which only served to make the blood vessles pop out on your neck with your constent hysteria. Between you and Ali, you 2 racked up a few more false claims.

It can't be fixed in software.
Intel will have to do a recall
There is no such thing as reprogramable microcode.
The DOD will have to decertify NT on Intel platforms.
The K6 errata list is obsolete and has been removed from the Web.
All K6 bugs have been fixed.
The world is coming to an end.

I probably missed a few more false ststements you 2 made in just the last week alone but I'm sure you will come up with plenty more.
