Some economists think FDR didn't spend enough. Others think that FDR could never spend enough to overcome the depression, and that all FDR did was to extend the circumstances.

Either way, the New Deal failed to end the Great Depression. That's a historical fact.


Forget economists. They've never been able to agree on anything anyway. They essentially line up along political lines, and that's that.

But does it make any sense at all that a people can tax itself into prosperity? Where is the logic in that?

Churchill likened it to a person standing in a bucket and trying to lift the bucket by its handle. It just doesn't make any sense in the universe we live in.

These guys are all the same. They've abandoned rational thought for ideological witchcraft.
