Well when it comes to energy... the world is not Canada's oyster.. We are boxed in of our own doing through laziness or shortsightedness or both.. but more likely other interests and hence we are the patsies.. One only need look at the permanent curtailing of refining capacity in eastern Canada which disproportionately jacks up our gasoline prices compared to the lower 48.. Our NG .. when you guys still needed it went at a discount.. as I've whined on before.. lack of pipelines east .. someone benefit from these imbalances ? .. so I ask who does this all serve.. not the average Johnny Canuck to be sure... And now I fear we have Prime Minister bent on being a delivery boy for US foreign policy.. BMO had a report a few months back showing that Canadians paid on average 20-25% more for equivalent goods stateside.. nary an eyebrow raised.. means a lot more VAT tax though..

Lots smells bad...
