This is the weekly update of the Group and SOXM(SOX) tables in terms of earnings estimates and price changes.

During the past 3 months, earnings estimates have changed very little, but the index numbers have been coming down somewhat. From the last interim highs, the Group is down 10.2 percent and the SOX is down 11.2 percent.

This week marks the 3rd down week for the Group. With the small exception of the week before last, the SOX has been down the past 5 weeks.

In the small bottom table, note that this past week's SOXM close of 561.72 is lower than the 564.24 number of 4/23/10 set 13+ months ago. The only change in the makeup of the SOXM over this period was the replacement of ATHR with AVGO a couple of weeks ago. While we can't pin down the exact comparison between the 2 dates, ATHR and AVGO have values that have been quite similar. The point is - the SOXM value now is very close to the SOXM value of 13+ months ago.
