Just as my ancestors were refugees from war and whatnot and I don't have right of return to conquered territories, not even to my grandparents' places of abode, Palestinians from 1948, most of whom have died, don't have right of return. Similarly, Jews from 2000 years ago didn't have right of return. New Jews from the 19th and 20th centuries had to buy land from the Ottoman Empire owners. It was only with the defeat of the evil-doing WWII bad guys and the defeat of the Ottoman Empire that the opportunity arose to divide up the Ottoman Empire and then the UN decided to create Israel too.

It was a big mistake for the Arab countries to try to continue war. That mistake led to their defeat and loss of more territory. That's how it goes in jungle rules. If they want to live by jungle rules, they could find things get even worse. My recommendation is that they vote Libertarian and live by voluntary trading among freely associating people.

My ancestral country picked a fight with the Prussians, only to be soundly defeated. C'est la vie. Bad luck for my ancestors. No right of return for me.

Palestinians should get over it, get a real job, and earn a living the hard way. Stop shooting and bombing people and start producing goods and services and living honest lives.
