Allen,

You are right. The market doesn't get it.

If things work as advertised, what was announced yesterday is an awesome upgrade to the mac/phone/touch/ipad operating systems.

Pricing is awesome as well, especially for Lion. I don't know if I heard it correctly but it sounded like if your machines are all together on one account, you might be able to upgrade all your machines for the price of 1 download.

Kurthend picked up on the 25 million iPads over 14 months which I think takes them through May so sales there are still going along very well with 1 more month of sales to go in the quarter.

I think we are getting closer to the convergence of the different operating systems that Apple has. It will decrease the learning curve for some. The big thing that I think I am seeing here is that with the integration of the different devices wirelessly, it will probably drive more people to buy Apple products.

If it all just works like they say which it appeared to do from the demos.

Now maybe they didn't announce everything that the rumor sites wanted, but I find what was announced pretty compelling. And if I have to upgrade things to make it all work, I will definitely look into this.

From the price action of Apple stock today, it seems that investors were not impressed because there isn't a new device to sell but I think what was announced yesterday will cause Apple to sell many new devices. One other thing that I saw that I have not seen mentioned is the PC free set up and running of these iDevices. I wonder how popular these will be and will people/families be using iDevices as their sole computing device?

Nice time to be an Apple shareholder, IMO. Good luck out there.

Neal
