Barrick's suit will take a long time for the court to hear as there will be more hearings in October.

My comments about your post were deserved. Very few have the historical perspective to understand that throughout most of our history as humans, currency backed by metals (or currency made out of metals) provided a platform for progress and development.

Most fiat currencies have succumbed to the temptation of overprinting. I say most because there is surely some fiat currency somewhere that has survived, the pound sterling comes to mind, though I would bet that it is severely devalued.
