Uh Oh: German E. Coli is New Hybrid “Super-Toxic” Antibiotic Resistant Strain

highboldtage.wordpress.com

>>Update via Discover Magazine:

“A German researcher found that the strain’s DNA contains small sequences from other E. coli strains and from plague bacteria, which may help explain its ferocity—though there’s no way, he emphasizes, that these bacteria could cause any form of plague.”

“E. coli is often spread when food, meat or water come into contact with cattle feces, but it’s unclear whether this rare strain is transmitted the same way as more common ones. Wildlife feces or dirty factory equipment could also be transmitting the bacteria.”

Via Science Magazine:

”Now, early results from sequencing projects of the enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli(EHEC) strain appear to confirm that a never-before-seen hybrid, combining the worst of several bacterial strains, is causing the havoc.

The Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI), in Shenzhen, China—which today announced that it has sequenced the microbe’s entire 5.2-million-base-pair genome—says that its acquisition of several virulence genes make this EHEC strain “supertoxic.”"

“…the analysis also confirmed that the microbe is resistant to many antibiotics. These include aminoglycoside, the macrolides, and the beta-lactams—”all of which makes antibiotic treatment extremely difficult,…”"<<

Comment: I have no doubt the bacteria were "manufactured" in a biological warfare lab.

And my gut feeling tells me that lab is in Israel.
