It's no surprise to me that people are overlooking the subtlety their cloud strategy. It's a superior cloud strategy for small business and consumers, as the devices are still the main file holders, so it's completely transparent and no one will even have to think about it. This wouldn't work with Salesforce or Netsuite as they are built for large organizations. I think that's a pretty big difference. They are concentrating on automating all the crappy sys admin stuff you'll still have to do if you own wintel/android. I think they've laid the groundwork for the next generation of devices. They are offering it all for really cheap. Apple's strategy is to sell the software and cloud cheap and make money on the hardware. Almost the exact opposite of the windows world. When they introduce the next generation of machines they will fly. These things are going to be post Star Trek.
