The average age of Palestinians in 1948 would have been about 25. They would now be about 87. Life expectancy among Palestinians is a lot less than that. Perhaps 10% of those who left in 1948 are still alive. They have the Winns' problem.

What I did and my ancestors did, was get a real job, save money, invest, and hey presto, life is pretty good. As a youngster, I worked for a Jewish family who lived nearby, picking their tomatoes and the profits from my work helped them move to Israel decades ago.

Perhaps if the Palestinians got a job picking their tomatoes they'd move back to New Zealand. Or better still, plant even more tomatoes and export them to Europe.

My family did not do or plan murder, though my father put in a good effort to kill German soldiers before Israel was formed and which was formed as a result of the victory against evil-doers such as the Germans and their sidekicks in Arabia. Surviving Germans are not so keen on the old Sieg Heil these days though your Pals are keen on it.

The way to save millions of people from the Germans was the way my family did = defeat them by gunfire. Appeasement didn't work and neither would begging bribery - the price just goes up and up until there's no money left.

The UN agreed to partition in an attempt to keep the peace, which was essentially agreeing to the formation of Israel as a country.

I don't know what you mean by a one state solution but I guess you mean including Gaza and the whole kit and kaboodle in a single state with Islamic Jihad as the majority in a regular democratic mob rule system.

I'd go along with that in a Tradable Citizenship form with limited democratic constitutional power to vote opm. I'd have votes according to taxes paid, with citizens entitled to vote.

Getting the rules right is important. The idea of having Islamic Jihadists voting to take money from Jews wouldn't work very well would it? Germany showed where that leads.
