That is when talking to unknown staff at 50 retailers, if I am reading your post correctly. We have no information about which retailers, how they were selected, whether they are representative of the universe of retailers, what the positions the interviewed staff held, the extent to which those staff have reliable data on the sales at their store (or whether it is their impression they are reporting), or other items that would allow us to critically evaluate the claims.
