I was 13 then... yeah grew up with it ... bomb scares, school evacuations, and worse.. didn't agree with it.. but I understand it.. I remember getting a department store job in Montreal @ 16 ... they didn't care that I could speak French.. but if you couldn't speak English no job.. Today Montreal has tons of folks that speak three or four languages... kinda like Europe.. It was the best of times... it was the worst of times :O)
