That reminds me of an interview of an author on NPR. The guy had devoted himself to the study of the wise men. He found some ancient texts in the Vatican library that described their journey. The texts by describing the behavior of the "star" that they followed made it sound like a flying saucer leading them and helping them along.

The author on NPR didn't strike me as nutty or anything and had no hard convictions on the matter, but was rather just reporting what he had found in his research. Of course, all it really shows is that the history of people telling stories about flying saucers goes way, way back...
