We have a green bin program here... all kitchen waste including meat goes in... Each summer we get to go and get all the free compost we can carry until it runs out ... I always get a few yards :o) I compost my own garden stuff also in spring/summer/fall... too cold in winter.. I don't pee on it though... maybe I can train my dogs to do that... :O) The compost is all the fertilizer I need except also a little bone meal too.. We have a no chemical pesticide law here for a few years now... I sell a lot of my perennials each year.. and they rate as organic :O) I got serious about it last year and have repeat customers now :O) Organic sells... but I think if we try the pee thing I'll not mention that LOL
