Bill- re browser/OS blending

In Bill Gate's OP-Ed piece you find:

At the time, the DOJ was fully aware that we were planning to integrate Internet capabilities into the forthcoming Windows 95 operating system.

Since the August 1995 release of Windows 95 contained 3 million? lines of code devoted to MSN and none to my knowledge devoted to the Internet the use of the word Internet doesn't really fit. I have to guess that this is the first time justice is hearing this too.

The actual announcement of integration of Explorer and Windows
was discussed on this thread when it was first broached (I'm thinking Jul 96). Microsoft participants on the thread seemed to think it
was a great idea. I'll have to reread the posts. I never got the impression that this was a well kept secret plan.
