re AHL - yes it's just one of the many insurance companies out there. What caught my attention is 0.62x tangible book valuation,despite their reasonable risk profile and track record. An additional positive is that some well know value investors are in this stock.

Insurance companies like TRH and AHL used to trade around book when times were tougher and 1.2x book when things in the insurance would where humming along nicely. This implies a nice potential gain for those willing to wait.
