Quarterly Changes to the NASDAQ Q-50 Index 06/10 08:00 PM

NEW YORK, June 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NDAQ: $23.80, $-0.35, -1.45%) announced today the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Q-50 Index, which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, June 20, 2011.
The following eight securities will be added to the Index: Acme Packet, Inc. (APKT: $67.29, $-1.87, -2.70%), Focus Media Holding Limited (FMCN: $27.23, $-0.79, -2.82%), lululemon athletica inc. (LULU: $89.94, $3.80, 4.41%), MercadoLibre, Inc. (MELI: $78.86, $-1.06, -1.33%), Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. (PTEN: $29.65, $-0.98, -3.20%), Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (REGN: $54.58, $-1.19, -2.13%), Sohu.com Inc. (SOHU: $69.39, $-1.31, -1.85%), and TIBCO Software Inc. (TIBX: $25.51, $-0.42, -1.62%).
The Index is designed to track the performance of the 50 securities that are next in line to replace the securities currently included in the NASDAQ-100 Index®. As a result of the re-ranking, the following six securities will be removed from the Index: BE Aerospace, Inc. (BEAV: $36.99, $-0.29, -0.78%), Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (CY: $21.15, $-0.65, -2.98%), R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (RRD: $19.47, $-0.36, -1.82%), Synopsys, Inc. (SNPS: $25.28, $-0.48, -1.86%), Steel Dynamics, Inc. (STLD: $16.09, $-0.18, -1.11%), and United Therapeutics Corporation (UTHR: $57.96, $-1.45, -2.44%).
