References to cultural phenomena are not racist or discriminatory if they do, in fact, exist and aren't simply prejudicial racial stereotypes.

Another merry-go-round of logic and assumption. Racial stereotypes are always grounded in some kernel of truth, however much they exaggerate and stretch the truth; otherwise, they could gain no traction.
