Another merry-go-round of logic and assumption. Racial stereotypes are always grounded in some kernel of truth, however much they exaggerate and stretch the truth; otherwise, they could gain no traction

There's a big difference between "US Jews historically vote for Democratic candidates" and "US Jews are cheap and speak in Yiddish accents." The first one is fine, the second one isn't. Similarly, saying blacks have a code of silence is fine, saying "US blacks eat watermelon and can't swim" may have a kernel of truth but have no place in the courtroom in front of a jury.
