From an article in today's NY Times...

>>" Texas Governor Draws Criticism on Prayer Event "<<

>>" When Gov. Rick Perry invited fellow governors to join on Aug. 6 for "a day of prayer and fasting on behalf of our troubled nation"... "<< MORE

>>" The Web site created for the event which is called The Response, says the meeting "has adopted the American Family Association statement of faith," including the infallibility of the Bible, the centrality of Jesus Christ and the eternal damnation that awaits nonbelievers. "<< MORE

Yeah, let's just hope that wacky governor of Texas runs for President of the country he wants to secede from and the repugs can get on with their "eternal damnation" bit.

Oh goody, "eternal damnation"...we can all go to Texas and be damned to droughts, wild fires, hurricanes and heat with all the oil we want to drink.

But not too worry, we will have our guns to protect ourselves from each other while we are led by idiots such as Perry to the "promised land"...Is that Mexico?
