Unfortunately many people refuse to recognize their mistakes. Here with Weiner we have a troublemaking, loudmouth, camera hogging narcissistic personality who trained under Schumer as an aid before taking his slot when Schumer was elected Senator. In Obama we have the same thing with two differences. Obama has a nationwide constituency and he is black. Voters on the left, encouraged by the MSM refuse to recognize they even made a mistake with either of them. Why the difference in Weiner and Obama constituency now? Still little difference. The Weiner story was not broken by the MSM and for the first 10 days they supported him. Weiner's constituency ignores his disgusting behavior and remains loyal. Obama's constituency blindly follows him as he drives America over a cliff. MSM continues 90% of it's blind support. Networks and newspapers have refused to research or demand information of his past and actively withheld/withhold information that fell in their laps. The Left Wing constituency and Left Wing media refuse to admit to a mistake. You can see that in people like Kenneth on this thread. Not joking when I say blindly. They are like people who close their eyes while driving into a busy intersection, desperately hoping they will make it to the other side alive. Doesn't this "left wing" have brakes? Can they not pause, assess the situation and proceed with caution? Perhaps they believe to pause might signal they aren't certain of the direction they had chosen. They seem far too involved in "being right". Maybe that is because they have such inflated opinions of themselves that it would destroy them to face reality. The mantra of the Left from the Great Depression through Vietnam to date seems to be "Without us or what we did it would have been much worse". It's that sort of thinking that has allowed themselves to award themselves not just a passing grade but a history of excellence. In their eyes they will always be excellent. It all seems much like the stupid kid who's mother always told him how smart he was, rather than telling him he has to work harder. It is human nature to be slow in recognizing one's own mistakes. The left wing has honed this trait to perfection.
