With 6 Million shares outstanding and each share valued at $5.00, if ACAP buys back an disposes of $1 million worth then with everything else being equal, would that add about $ .17 per share? someone please check my math.

In their newspaper column "Ask The Fool" this week the Motley Fool says that stock buybacks are a sign of managements confidence in the firm.

They also comment in their website

Amcor only used $1.5 M of their previously authorized $2 M buyback. Does this mean that they now have $1.5 M authorized?

Amcor has filed a $1 Billion lawsuit against the IRS. Any comments about how this may be going or when it may be settled?
