I'm not following you. Could you please cite a couple of relevant remarks from all the Republicans which reflect this thinking?

While it is true, during times of war, military costs are escalated, I see no evidence that any Republican is wanting to "continue the trend of militarizing the economy". So, perhaps you'll enlighten me.
