When you consider that we are fighting a bunch of stateless terrorists in all our current wars, that have no military, no state derived wealth, really NOTHING, you've got to wonder just what the hell we spend all that money for. What's the cost per terrorist killed? That seems to be the metric to use. It's got to be an INSANE figure! Here's an article that claims every Taliban we kill costs $50 million dollars! informationclearinghouse.info It's a criminal squandering of funds and effort, and has been for years. To compare these wars to wars against nations is ludicrous. The entire "War on Terror" concept is a bankrupt notion.
