That's a real stretch. Domestic law enforcement is now "military spending"?

As for the DOE, just to be sure, I checked on their website, www.energy.gov. The top three featured articles on the front page are:

- EcoCAR
- Energy 101: Daylighting
- Rooftop Solar Challenge

Nothing militaristic about any of that.

If you're arguing that we should spend more on domestic security and less on foreign intervention, I would agree.
