Mauro -

I'm glad I can be of some service to those on the thread... especially since I'll be of very little on the fundamental side of things... I intend to leave that to folks like you, who enjoy (and have time to spend) researching companies like SNDK.

Speaking of TA, the comments I made earlier today only took into account weekly data. That's because that's what I mainly go by in my trading system.

I should have added, though, that based on daily data, SNDK gave a buy signal two trading days ago. For the next few days, it is likely that SNDK will go up. For how long, and how far, my brand of TA doesn't even try to predict.

I use weekly data rather than daily data because weekly data tends to be more accurate, leading to less false starts/'whipsaws'. However, when I give the status of my indicators, I normally show the status of both the weekly and daily indicators.

Also, I should say that I don't use a classic 12/26/9 MACD. Instead of using a 9-bar moving average of MacdDiff to construct MacdMA (see my earlier post), I use the 7-bar moving average. I have found through optimization studies and 3+ years of actual trading that the 7-bar moving average works better for the types of stocks I normally trade (aggressive growth stocks). So if my 'buy'/'sell' signals don't match up 1:1 with someone else's, that's probably why.
